Konami has officially revealed a remake of Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Tag Force 3, releasing on February 16th 2026.

During today’s Nintendo Direct, Konami debuted a first look at Yu-Gi-Oh! TAG FORCE GX, a modern remake of the 2007 PSP game Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Tag Force 3 complete with modern visuals, enhanced gameplay and more nostalgic cards from the GX era previously unavailable in the original release.
Reborn from Yu-Gi-Oh! GX TAG FORCE 3, Yu-Gi-Oh! Bringing contemporary improvements, Yu-Gi-Oh! TAG FORCE GX features:
- Unleash your inner HERO!: Classic Dueling is back and rebuilt with over 3,800 cards, including additional fan-favourite cards beyond those featured in the original Yu-Gi-Oh! GX TAG FORCE 3. Build a Deck and develop unique strategies to secure victory.
- Class is in Session: Enjoy student life at Duel Academy and explore, investigate, and expand your extracurricular activities with new and renewed mini-games.
- Duel the World!: Duelists can enter a Casual Duel or Room Match to enjoy both Tag and 1v1 Duels with Online Multiplayer!
- Gallery Mode: Reminisce with story scenes from Yu-Gi-Oh! GX TAG FORCE 1 and Yu-Gi-Oh! GX TAG FORCE 2.
A slew of pre-order bonuses are available depending on the platform you choose:
- Steam: Duelists will receive bonus Wallpapers and Icons for their devices, alongside a Digital “Duelist Directory” book which displays information about the Characters in the game.
- Nintendo Switch 1 & 2: Physical copies of the game will include 3 Limited Edition Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG cards, whilst the Digital version will include a promotional code offering digital versions of the cards plus a “Winged Kuriboh” mate to claim in Konami’s Free to Play game Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel.
